We would like to share some of our adoptable animals here at Lake Humane Society. We have 80 animals currently looking for homes in our care and hundreds more waiting to be placed up for adoption. When considering adding a new furry family member to your household, please make adoption your only option!
Tank is a 5-year-old Siberian Husky who was surrendered to LHS because his previous owner did not have enough time for him. Tank is a gentle and sweet boy and he can be pretty independent at times. Tank still has a lot of love to give... will you make him part of your family?
Friendly, affectionate Marney came to the LHS when his previous owner died. He loves to be groomed & stroked! He's front declawed and wouldn't mind living with children over five years or other cats or dogs. But he has never lived with female cats. He's worth a look!
We have so many more animals available for adoption. Be sure to visit our website and check out all of the cuteness! Save a life... Adopt a shelter animal!
Since 1937, the Lake Humane Society has been dedicated to the welfare and protection of animals. Our Mission at Lake Humane Society is to provide a gentle and caring haven for the homeless, abandoned, and injured animals of Lake County and persevere in defending and protecting animal life through education, integrity, and leadership.

ADOPTION SPECIAL: In honor of Adopt A Senior Pet Month, Lake Humane Society is holding an adoption special for all of their older residents. For this week only (November 11-17) adopt a senior cat or dog (6 years or older) and name your own adoption fee! LHS has some wonderful seniors available for adoption.
Sparky is one of our adorable seniors. He is a 15-year-old Lab mix and he still has so much more love to give!
