Procrastinator's Shopping Event
It's that time of year again! The Procrastinator's Shopping Event is THIS Sunday (12/20) from 10:00AM-4:00PM at the Mentor Headlands Community Center. Come do your last minute shopping! The $1 admission and all proceeds from the raffle will benefit the homeless pets in our care. We hope to see you there!

Oreo
Just look at that smile! This happy girl is Oreo and if you couldn't tell by that beautiful grey muzzle, she is a senior! This sweet 7-year-old is very friendly and affectionate, and is pretty content just being by your side. Oreo was adopted from LHS but was returned because her owner could no longer afford her care. Oreo is now looking for a committed owner who can give her a forever retirement home where she can happily live out the rest of her years without a worry or care in the world! This handsome boy is 4-year-old Rocky. After being transferred to LHS from another shelter suffering from a lack of space, this sweet boy is hoping to find a permanent home. Calvin
This big-eyed baby face belongs to 2-year-old Calvin. After being surrendered to LHS as a stray by a Good Samaritan, Calvin is looking for a fresh start at life. He has adjusted to life at the shelter rather quickly and is very friendly and playful with all of our staff and volunteers. This sweet boy would make a great addition to any family so stop in and see him today!
Lucy
Meet Lucy! This beautiful girl is regal in personality and in her looks. Lucy is laid back and very poised but just a few ear scratches is all it takes to make this girl melt. She loves being petted and is one top-notch snuggler and purring machine. Sadly, Lucy was abandoned by her previous owner and was brought to LHS for a second chance at happiness. She is patiently waiting but hopes to find what she is looking for very soon. So if you're looking for an affectionate, cuddly kitty, just ask for Lucy!

Santa Paws is Coming to Town!
Santa Paws is Comin' to Town THIS Saturday & Sunday and we have to say, we are pretty excited! He will be here at the Lake Humane Society's Annex Building December 5th and 6th from 12:00-4:30PM.
Bring your whole family (pets included) and capture a great Christmas photo. So many of our supporters have made this a yearly tradition and we just love seeing you year after year! Sessions start at just $15 each and ALL proceeds will help LHS give the homeless pets of Lake County a warm place to stay while they wait for their forever homes. Carol
This big girl is 3-year-old Carol. Carol was transferred to LHS from another shelter suffering from a lack of space. This purring machine loves her ear scratches but is pretty content getting any amount of attention. After moving from home to home, Carol would love to find someone who can give her a more permanent place for her to live a happy life. Are you that someone?
Say hello to the gorgeous Lily. This one-year-old is one calm cuddle bug! She loves being as close to you as she can possibly get and is known to give lots of eskimo kisses. Lily was surrendered to LHS as a stray after a Good Samaritan found her wondering around on her own. She is now hoping to find a loving home with a great family. His world was turned upside down when his owner's health took a turn for the worst making caring for him impossible. Tom is now in our care but needs to find a home where he will get the one-on-one love and attention he so dearly misses. Because Tom is slowly adjusting, he would prefer a new home with a calm environment with children over the age of 10. Can you give this kitty the loving home and TLC he needs?

This gorgeous, colorful girl is 3-year-old Buttercup. Buttercup was also transferred in from another shelter with a lack of space and well, we have to say she has adjusted quite quickly to life here at LHS. This lovable kitty is laid back and isn't into playing as much as some other cats her age but she sure loves to cuddle! She also loves to explore and his good at keeping herself very occupied. Even though she is comfortable here, Buttercup would love to find that forever home that she has heard so much about. So stop in and see her.
