This gorgeous girl is Star. Star is a 5-year-old Pit Bull mix available for adoption here at LHS. She has been with us for nearly 5 months now and we want nothing more than to find her the perfect home. Star is such a sweetheart. She loves to cuddle and be petted. She suffers from separation anxiety, so she would thrive in a home where her family is around her as much as possible.
In addition to being a top notch snuggler, Star loves to play. She loves her squeaky toys and often times when you walk past her kennel she is standing there with a toy in her mouth just waiting for someone to play with her. Star is housebroken and she would like a home where she is the spoiled only four-legged child. While we know many households like to have more than one pet, Star has more than enough love, kisses and snuggles to go around. As for human children, Star would get along great with kids over the age of 5. Of course, we do require that all members of the household visit a pet before adoption to ensure he/she is the right fit for their family.
Yesterday, in order to give Star a much-needed break from the kennel she has called "home" for the last 5 months, our Marketing Department enlisted her as their "assistant" for the day. As you can see, Star was definitely thrilled! We would love to give Star a more permanent break from the kennel.
