Low-Cost Rabies Clinic at Lake Humane Society

In celebration of World Rabies Day, we are holding a low-cost rabies clinic here at our shelter on Saturday, September 28th. Bring your cat or dog to get a rabies vaccination for just $10! Microchipping is also available at a discounted price of just $20 (proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination is required).

The clinic will begin at 12:00 and run until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28th. Lake Humane Society is located at 7564 Tyler Boulevard (Building E) in Mentor. If you have any questions, please call the shelter at (440) 951-6122.

This is a walk-in clinic, so please be prepared that there may be a wait. We accept cash and credit card payment only, no checks. All cats must be in carriers and all dogs must be leashed or in carrier at all times. For the safety of the LHS staff, we will not vaccinate aggressive animals or feral cats. Summer is coming to an end, but we still have so many cats, dogs, kittens and puppies available for adoption here at Lake Humane Society. When considering adding a pet to your family, please make ADOPTION your first and only option. Shelters all around the world are bursting at the seams with homeless animals who are there at no fault of their own.

Give a homeless animal a loving forever home today!

Check out these featured adoptables! We should probably warn you, these pictures are the cutest!

RAJA
Raja is a beautiful 2-year-old Boxer available for adoption here at LHS. Raja was surrendered to our shelter due to her owner's health. This adorable girl is very energetic so she will need a family that is willing to take her on regular walks and make sure she gets lots of exercise! Come meet Raja today!

COREY
Corey is a handsome 6-year-old boy available for adoption here at LHS. Corey is a very sweet kitty and he is usually pretty laid-back. This amazing cat has been in our care for nearly a year and a half and we just can't understand why! Corey will make someone very happy and we hope he will be adopted soon.

TRENT & TOSYRO
These two beautiful boys are sure to bring a smile to your face. They are just so adorable and they love each other very much. Since they grew up together, we are adopting them out together as a bonded pair. Don't forget about our small critters here at LHS! We have everything from rabbits to birds to guinea pigs!

Here at Lake Humane Society it is our goal to make sure the homeless animals of Lake County are cared for and that they find loving forever homes.
