We have so many wonderful animals waiting for homes here at Lake Humane Society. When considering adding a pet to your family, adoption should always be your first option! Adopting an animal is very rewarding as you are giving that animal a second chance at a happy life!

JACKSON

Jackson is a 1 and a half year old boy who is available for adoption at LHS. He was returned to us in February because his owner was moving and could not take him along. Jackson is very friendly and loving. He would be a great companion for children (10 and up) as he loves to play and cuddle.

MICHI

Michi is a beautiful 1 year old Pit Bull mix. She was transferred to LHS from another shelter. When she came to us she was pregnant, so she spent several months in a foster home. Recently, we adopted out all EIGHT of her puppies and now it is her turn to find a forever home. Do you have room in your home and your heart for this sweet girl?

All of our adoptable animals have been physicalled by our vet, spayed/neutered, microchipped and are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccines. All dogs have their temperament assessed prior to becoming available for adoption. For more information on our adoption process, visit our website!
