Featured Adoptables

Claire
This adorable face belongs to Claire, a 1 year old Labrador Retriever mix. This energetic lady is gentle, playful, friendly and loving. She even knows how to sit. Claire was transfered to LHS from the Ashtabula Apl. She has been with us since January and is hoping she will soon find her forever home. She must be the only pet and would do best around children over the age of 15. If you think Clair might be the right fit for you, come visit her today!

Penny
This is Penny, a beautiful girl who is a bit shy. Once she warms up to you though, she really enjoys ear and chin scratches. She was brought to the shelter because she do not get along with the other pets in her home. Therefore, she must be the only animal in an all-adult household. Penny has been with us since October so, needless to say, she is ready to find her furever home. If you are looking for a sweet, loving, four-legged companion in your life, just ask for Penny!

Princess
This affectionate, friendly girl is Princess. Her favorite pastimes are cuddling and playtime. She is quite playful and it doesn't take much to get her purring machine going. Princess is also quite talkative and is always ready for a good conversation. She was brought to the shelter because her previous owner passed away. She is now hoping to find that special person who will give her the one-on-one love and attention she truly misses. So if you're looking for an affectionate, playful, talkative kitty, just ask for Princess. Are you her special person?

Star
Say hello to Star, currently our longest canine resident here at LHS. When we took her in back in December, she quickly became a staff favorite. She is a sweet, affectionate, playful girl who loves to cuddle. She will gladly take any attention you're willing to give her. She also loves her toys and prefers to have them with her at all times. Star is now looking for her new forever home, preferably with children over the age of 15. She must also be the only pet in the home. Stop by and see her at the shelter. She just might be the next great addition to your family!
