#GivingTuesday is a movement that was started in 2012. The purpose of Giving Tuesday is to create a national day of giving to kick off the holiday season. After doing lots of shopping for you and your loved ones on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, make a donation to a charitable organization close to your heart on December 1st.
Here at Lake Humane Society, we care for hundreds of injured, abused and abandoned animals each month. Without our organization, unwanted, homeless or abandoned pets in Lake County would have nowhere to turn. Families who fall on hard times would not have a valuable resource within their community. Our volunteers and supporters would be missing a piece of themselves without the opportunity to visit and help these homeless pets each day.
