Meet big Joey
This is Joey, a handsome, big (11.5 lbs.) kitty. He is very calm and affectionate, and sometimes he even gives little "love nibbles", as the volunteers call them. He came to the shelter as a stray, and now needs to find his furever home where he can get all the attention and love he deserves. So if you are looking for a great lap cat, just ask for Joey.

Annie is a 1 and a half year old Pitbull Terrier mix with the sweetest personality you could ever want in a dog. She came to LHS as a stray in November and as quickly become a favorite of the staff and volunteers. Her loving, friendly, laid back personality would make her a great addition to any family with kids over the age of 15. She even knows a couple commands like sit and stay. A Sweet Little Lady.
Say hello to Malley. This sweet little lady was brought to us as a stray. She loves attention and his good at drawing you in from her box with her chit chatting. While she is happy and healthy here at LHS, Malley would love to find a furever home with a nice family. Preferably a family with children over the age of 5. Come check her out! She just might be the next great addition to your family.

The handsome Coulson.
Coulson is a very calm kitty. He might be hiding in his box when you first meet him but, once he becomes familiar with his surroundings, his true colors come out. He is extremely affectionate and will happily take all the pets you can give him. He came to the shelter as a stray and his hoping to find his furever home, preferably with children over the age of 15. So if you are looking to add a very loving addition to your family, stop by and see him!

This pretty little cougar is Sassy.
She is currently our oldest cat here at LHS but don't let that fool ya, this girl has plenty of life and love left to give. She was surrendered to us because her owner could no longer afford to care for her. Despite her name, she is a sweet, laid back, affectionate cat. She loves to talk and will soak up any attention you have to give. Sassy is currently looking for her forever home.

Say hello to Hugger.
This laid back, affectionate cat came to the LHS because his previous owner was moving and could not take him with them. He loves to give hugs by rubbing his head against you (aka head butts). Although he is happy and healthy at LHS, he is looking for his forever home, preferably with children over the age of 10. He would get along just fine with new canine and feline siblings, and would also do great as the only pet. So if you're looking for a big, handsome, affectionate kitty who loves attention, stop by the shelter and ask for Hugger!
